We "matched" online through a dating website in July 2023. After messaging and chatting on the phone for a couple weeks, we decided to go on a date. We went mini-golfing and then ate dinner at the Highland House in Mequon. After several more dates it became obvious that things were becoming serious. We introduced each other to our families in the fall and had a wonderful holiday season!

In 2024, we went on several trips together. It was an action packed year to say the least. On August 30, 2024, Jamie proposed to Lara where they first kissed - Coal Dock Park in Port Washington, WI. It was the most beautiful evening!

The past few months have been busy as we kicked the wedding planning into high gear. We are so thrilled to celebrate and start the next phase of our lives with you in early September. Cheers!
